Hi! I'm Nikita, the heart behind TinkerHause. I'm a Coachella Valley native and a homeschool mama of two girls who love sensory play, creativity, and all things wonderfully messy and magical. Think Ms. Rachel with a dash of Ms. Frizzle - that's the joy and energy I bring to every playdate!
Our play-based approach combines sensory bins, STEM experiments, nature and animal encounters (yes, we have chickens, goats, and more!), process-based arts & crafts, and imaginative learning to spark curiosity, creativity, and joy in every child.
In my free time, I love painting, crafting, gardening, and raising animals - and I can't wait to share that wonder with your little ones.

My passion for children feeling seen, heard, and celebrated was shaped by my own early life challenges and strengthened through my work as both a nanny and a para-educator in an elementary school. What started as simple sensory bins and science experiments with my daughters blossomed into TinkerHouse: a space where kids experience the magic of learning through inclusive, sensory-friendly play experiences while connecting with their community - completely screen-free!

A themed, sensory-rich experience designed for groups, co-ops, meetups and seasonal community events.
What’s included:
A mix of themed sensory bins + arts & crafts
Engaging story time to anchor learning and play
Activities that promote creativity, social skills and exploration
1-2 hour session depending on the theme (holidays may include extras)
All supplies provided + full setup and and cleanup
Great for co-ops, parks, community centers, moms’ groups and pop-ups

Bring your child’s imagination to life with a hands-on, creative celebration! Each party is tailored to your child’s interests and chosen theme, making it truly special and unique. Our birthday parties are full of activities that spark curiosity, creativity, and joy.
Party Activities Include:

Add a gentle small animal encounter for an extra touch of magic (deposit/fee applies).

Seasonal play dates, sensory + STEM pop-ups, themed holiday gatherings and special community workshops.

Most activities are designed for ages 2-7 with options that can be adapted for younger toddlers or older kids.

Yes! We supply everything needed: sensory bins, tools, slime ingredients, crafts, tarps and cleanup materials.

Community Gatherings: Tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another date if space allows.
Birthday Parties & In-Home Playdates: Cancellations made at least 7 days in advance may be rescheduled. Deposits are non-refundable.

For community gathers and birthday parties, yes.

Please bring water, a snack and dress your child in play-friendly clothes. Activities can get messy! A small towel or wipes are also helpful.

Depending on the activity, gatherings can accommodate 9-25 children.

Payment for community gatherings is due at registration. Playdates and parties require a deposit, with the remaining balance due the day of the event.
